Starting in a residential area of Northampton, the trail emerges into rural terrain that features open fields, woodlands, streams and small bridges. At mile 2.5, you reach Bicentennial Park. Here you'll find a 64 acre municipal park owned and managed by East Allen Township, with restrooms, pavilions, playgrounds, tennis courts and a wide variety of ball fields.
The trail winds down with views of farmland and woodlands before crossing Jacksonville Road. Currently, the trail goes a short distance farther to end near Jacksonville Park, another municipal park owned and managed by East Allen Township.
